Cyrus Bruton was born in the UK. He is a GTT certified Holotropic Breathwork™ facilitator, has completed the Avatar materials and is a Hoffmann Quadrinity graduate. He is the author of the book, “Mud Lotus Mystic”
In the 80’s and 90’s he lived and worked in India at the Osho Commune International, Pune experiencing various meditations, mind-body centred therapies and trained in dance and bodywork. In Holland he participated in the Therapist Training with Veeresh Denny Yuson-Sanchez. His passion for music led him to work as a progressive psychedelic trance DJ throughout Europe in the 90’s. Understanding how to move peoples bodies and psyches on the dancefloor laid a good foundation for creating Holotropic music sets.
In 1997 he met Anamo (Mikaire) and spent the next twelve years working together with Mikaire, Isa and the connected community.
Since 2017 he has intensely focused on the practice of Zazen and studies koan as a student of Jeff Shore, attending retreats in Europe and visiting Kyoto, Japan.
Presently Cyrus lives in Berlin with his beloved, a growing community of fellow travellers and two exquisite cats. He sits in presence and also at the Skype Zendo, offers retreats and Holotropic Breathwork™ workshops together with the Berlin Team.
